What the calculator stores

Receipts, dates, your departure airport and fee settings are saved in your browser’s localStorage under the key jtr:v1 so they survive a reload. They are never sent to a server. Use “Clear my data” on the calculator, or clear your browser’s site data, to delete them. If storage is unavailable (private browsing, blocked site data), the calculator still works and simply forgets everything when you leave.

What this site does not collect

• No accounts, no sign-in, no email addresses.
• No cookies set by this site.
• No analytics or advertising scripts at present. If a cookie-free analytics service is added later, it will be listed here first.

Hosting

The pages are static files served by Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare processes the technical details of each request (IP address, user agent, requested URL) to deliver the page and protect against abuse, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. This site does not receive or keep that information.

External links and affiliate links

Links to airports, Customs, retailers and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies. Where this site uses affiliate links, they are marked “PR” and a disclosure appears in the footer. Clicking one may set a cookie on the partner’s site so that a later booking can be attributed; nothing is set by this site.

External transmissions

For transparency under Japan’s rules on information sent to third parties: at present this site loads no third-party scripts, fonts or images, so your browser sends information only to Cloudflare (hosting) when loading pages. If that changes, the recipient and purpose will be listed here.
